Google Calendar allows you to create additional calendars to schedule for a project, an event, or any other purpose beyond that of your primary calendar. You can also choose a color for each calendar to make it easy to determine which events belong to each calendar. Then "Check" and "Uncheck" the box to the left of your colleague's name to view this behavior. If you haven't already added a colleague's calendar, do so now. If you have multiple calendars, you can show and hide the events on each calendar using the check box to the left of the calendar name in your list. Calendars of interest include religious and regional holidays, major sports team schedules, and phases of the Moon. As discussed previously, resources are centrally managed calendars, that represent a shared location or thing.

In addition to co-worker's calendars, you can also browse resources and calendars of interest, add a public calendar via URL, or import a calendar from a file in iCal or Outlook CSV formats. After the calendar is added, you can also set event notifications and other notifications settings for that calendar. If you have permission to view the calendar, it will be added to your other calendars list. Google Calendar will suggest people as you type. Select, "Subscribed calendar," and type the person's name in the add Calendar box.

To add a co-worker's calendar, select, "Add other calendars," at the top of the other calendars list. In this case, you can subscribe to their calendar. You might want to have instant visibility to a co-worker schedule.
